The Balm from Ritual is a soothing after shave to minimize redness, irritation and to help cool. The Balm includes Aloe and Lidocaine to calm your face after a shave. We recommend rewashing your face with cold water to help close your pours and remove loose dead skin prior to applying your post-shave product. The Balm also has Tea Tree Oil and Witch Hazel that works through the day or night to continue to soothe and calm your face preventing irritation.

My favorite Ritual product (OK, maybe second favorite to Nature Calls). I have extremely sensitive skin to the point where I normally don't put anything on my face for a few hours after my shave because of how raw the skin is...most aftershave products burn like hell.

This balm feels like you're coating your face with a protective shield. I put it on pretty thick and it is smooth and refreshing the entire day. My face feels softer and less irritated, and the scent is subtle but very appealing.

I tried this balm yesterday and I was surely impressed by all aspects of it. The smell was subtle yet fresh with a great consistency that felt amazing on your skin after shaving. After putting it on you can feel a layer of protection on your skin that isn't oily. First experience with the Ritual The Balm After Shave Gel and it was fantastic.
